This captivating New York state park's amazing 125-foot whirlpool moves counterclockwise 30-35 miles per hour and is caused from a change in the Niagara River's flow. Whirlpool State Park's street level allows for great views of the rapids and whirlpool and has a gorge natural history room, picnic area and playground.
